Expect More from your Childcare!

Are you sure you want to do this? That was the question posed when I began this grand adventure of expanding my home childcare business to the center you see today. To be honest, at first I wasn’t sure. I was doing well for myself; had amazing families that let me into their lives and trusted me to love and care for their children. But then I spoke to more families. Families who were desperate to find a genuine caregiver who was invested in their child and their family.

These families told me about the struggles they faced in their childcare search. From center to home provider, they worried about safety, curriculum, and nurturing. The uneasiness of leaving their child with a stranger and all the stress that came from not just returning to work, but wondering how their child was doing without them. That was my turning point.

I realized that I could have such a positive impact on the lives of these families! So with the support of my husband and kids I threw myself head first into our expansion with the mission of combining the intimacy of a home provider with the resources of a center.

I am fully invested in the relationships with the families I provide care for. You won’t see me hiding in my office, elbows deep in paperwork. I am Duck Duck Daycare.
